From 1989 (at the age of 15) through 1992 I studied in Ponce High School where I graduated with high honor in Art by the hand of another international recognized puertorrican artist, Francisco García Burgos. During this time I won 2 diferent art competitions: 1990 First Place, Christmast Postcard, ​Asociación de Industriales de Puerto Rico.​1989 and the First place in Art,  Proyecto Fedarte, Federación de Maestros  de Puerto Rico.
